magnecor wires and msd dis 4 ignition set up

Where are you located? I bought my wires and MSD from a local shop. Haven't put the MSD on yet, had it for years now. If you are local to me I'll give you the shop's email and phone number.

I can order the MSD DIS-4...gotta get a price on it. Didnt they come out with a plus version or something? Ill get a price tomorrow, i have no idea what everyone is selling them for these days. You also need the adapters for the coils.

I haven't talked to magnecore yet about pricing either as I wanted to add those to the store as well. Ill see what they say on those as well. Again, no idea what other places sell them for right now.

This is how myn came out. I hope you have a batter place to mount the box then me. I says in the manual not to put in the glove box for heat reasons, but if you put like a 80mm pc fan on the back of the box it would work just fine. If you were wondering were myn is its right on the out side of the glove box. I can tell what rpm my car is at just by the rate that it ticks.[/img]

Just a heads up, it appears that Accel makes a performance set of wires for the TDC as well. Part #'s; 110-5126k at Jegs, which is cheapest at $61 or ACC-5126k at summit racing for just slightly more.

I hate accel. Their products all suck IMO, especially their ignition. Now the stand alone computer may be good but yeah, i stay far away from their ignition stuff. Besides, their race wires lasted 10k miles for me, magnecore wires have never deteriorated in their job over time for me, for the 5 years I drove with my old 3.1.

When I got my wires, I went to cyberauto.com. They had them for $145 I think, but that was for 91-95. They have them for 96-97 but I don't know the price off hand. BTW, if you still need MSD coils, I'm selling mine right now.

Are you sure they are still 145, cause thats cheaper than what magnecor will sell them to me for. Their site looks very old and that pricing has been the same for at least 7 years now.

I got them in '02 for that price, and I just recently got a K&N filter for my Lumina from them, so they're still in business, and I've seen site changes, they're still up and running.
