  • Fuel spark problem

In the past week or 2 while giving my car some throttle, it seems as if the fuel cuts off, but only for about half a second, then it is right back where it was. I put in some dry gas and it didn't fix the problem. It doesn't sputter any other time and it is getting worse. Think maybe it is the TPS? If so, is there a way to test the TPS? I know that I do have a vacuum leak right now and am not sure if that is related at all.

On what may be a related note, I have since last night developed an exhaust leak. The leak appears to be near the rear of the engine bay. I will have to tear it apart today to see what may be the cause.

Its probably the leak and not the TPS. Fix your leaks first and see what that does.
