Well guys I did my head gaskets a few weeks ago on my dohc, and for the most part everything went well, but without even thinking, I ended up reusing the old exhaust manifold gaskets ON THE BACK SIDE! Well, now I have a real loud exhaust tick. I'm trying to figure out if I can do it up on jackstands from underneath, or should I pull the cam cover. It looks like I might have enough room if I pull the downpipe from the back of the manifold. What do you guys think? Believe me, I know I'm a dumbass lol...

If you pull the dog-bone engine mount, the one that goes from the head to the radiator support and rock the engine forward with a come-along you can gain quite a bit of room to get at the rear of the engine.....

You could also drop the rear of the sub-frame down a couple inches as well, but don't go any farther than that or you will have fun hooking the slip joint for the steering back up.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Those are good ideas. As long as it saves me from pulling the cam carrier I can dig it. Lol I dunno about dropping my subframe cause my underbody is a bit rough.
