Exhaust smoke

Car is a 92' GP with the 3.4L DOHC, Just did valley gasket, LIM, upper intake gaskets, upper and lower EGR gaskets. along with cleaning up all the surfaces on each part. Got it all back together and gave it a start (car hasnt been ran in a few months but, after doing the job i get smoke on idle, and it smells a bit rich as well. the smoke clears up after the car gets a bit higher up into the RPM range.

Any idea on what be causing the smoke? Did plugs a while back on it as well and they still look fine.

what color is the smoke? does it have a smell?
White=Water/coolant (smells like waffles & Maple syrup... sweet smell)
Black=Fuel (smells like rich unburnt fuel)
Blue=Oil (smells like burnt oil)

has he car been drove much? does it do it after its been running for a while or just on initial startups? could be residule that just needs burnt out. try pulling a couple plugs and see what they look like, are they corroded, black or white, crusty? start there adn that will point you in the right direction.

Week when I first seen it, it was blue, and smelled as unburnt fuel, it's been ran a little here and a little there. This time there was minimal smoke, but the exhaust still smells rich on gas. No codes or anything like that either.
