  • '99 3.1L Teardown Question

The 3.1 int/hd gasket replacement has gone extremely slowly due to Family reasons.
It is at the stage where the front side of the engine components need removal.
Question: Can I remove the Power Steering / Alternator assembly all as a single component and move it out of the way enough to replace the head gaskets?
Or do I have to disassemble each part separately?
Just trying to save some time.
I mistakenly first posted this in the Pushrod Maintenance Forum.
    TIA for any helpful replies.

Normally I go alternator > PS. You would have to remove the timing chain cover to get the PS off without removing it from its mounting location and the alternator bracket is separate from the timing chain cover anyways.
