You need repair the line correctly or park the car before you get into an accident and hurt someone.

The brake system has a proportioning valve in there that sends the correct pressure to each corner to keep the car stable under braking. Plug off one instead of buying an inexpensive line could cost you your life or the life of another when you have to slam on the brakes and the car gets thrown into a spin, or slides sideways from the now unbalance braking system. One side of my master cylinder started going out on me one day in the 91 when I was driving around. Instead of stable braking, my car would lock one front tire, and try to pitch sideways, so you can say I know this from experience. Needless to say, the master cylinder was changed later that afternoon... Go buy some flare wrenches, do your self a favor and get a new line and fix it right. Brakes are not something you want to rig to get by.

I drove my '92 convertible & my '88 Regal with 3 calipers for a short time....Funny part is that a W body stops just as well with 3 calipers as it does with 4...

Was the bad one on the rear? My old Prelude was like that, sadly. Then while working on the brakes, I had to pinch off the other rear brake. In the summer it was somewhat ok, when winter hit, it was downright dangerous to drive. Your front handles most of your stopping power, which is why your fronts are always larger then the rears, but the rears are meant to be working too.

So that you guys know. I did fix the problem, I did put a new line on the car, then as soon as I did, I blew the seal on a rear caliper!

I just replaced the whole thing. Everything is good to go now.

For the record, I hate being called an idiot and a broad, I am actually a man, the reason I posted here and asked about the question was to inquire if it was safe or not, I had no idea, so am I an idiot for asking??

                    At any rate, thanks dudes.
