  • leaking fuel rail

I just changed out my intake gaskets on my 92 z34 got it all back together and I had a gas leak coming from my fuel rail. I took the plenum back off and turned the key to turn on the fuel pump and gas is coming out of the bleeder/nipple? but I need to know if this is something I can fix or if I need to find a new fuel rail any help is much appreciated as I'm trying to get to work on Monday.

should be able to fix it by replacing the schrader valve in the fitting. The ones from a tire repair vavle stemm kit should work but I could be mistaken. I know the tool will remove it.

Yea a few people I talked to said to try that, I've never taken a valve stem out before nor do I have the tool. I just went to the junk yard though and got me another rail, hopefully this one works fine. Thanks for the help, hopefully I can get this whore back on the road today

I already had it apart anyway, plus I f-ed up my lower by over tightening the coolant outlet nut, or whatever it's called. Luckily I picked up another lower while I was at the junk yard, but I broke the egr tube and stripped the head off the one at the junk yard so that's gonna cost me $80 from the dealership. maybe some day I'll be able to drive it again. At least it doesn't leak gas anymore, and my egr tube looked like it has been kinda f-ed up for a while now. So whenever I get it back together it should run like a champ, especially cause I'm gonna drive the hell out of it when it gets back together.
