What do you guys use to clean under the hood of your cars. These used car dealers get them all clean and shiny under there. What is safe and what is bad ? Thanks for any input

Never make the solution more complicated than the problem -
they aren't really clean with the used car dealers... that's just a heck of a lot of silicone based "protectant" which isn't really good for anything (basically armor-all)...
