  • Serpentine Belt part #?

i have ('91-'93) 3.4 TDC in my fiero, it threw the serpentine belt. i looked at rockauto, o'rielly's, autozone and none of their part number match what i had on the belt. the part number they listed KXXX730, 730K6, etc. mine is similar but ends in 725. which belt do i need?

what would cause the belt to be thrown?

    thanks,
    thomas...

That's kind of goofy. Yours is shorter. If anything, the longer belt would be an issue. I'd double check all your pulleys, specifically idler and tensioner pulleys for bad bearings or misalignment of some sort. Maybe double check the tension on the tensioner, too. If it's worn, it won't keep good tension on the belt and would cause issues like that. Good luck.
