Engine swap question

Hey I just have a quick question on a 3.4dohc engine..As of now I have a 1995 Monte Z34 with a 3.4dohc and wanted to know if a 1996 engine would jusat slide right down imto my car, Thanks

Pysically it would fit with no problem. The thing is that 96 was the first year for OBD 2, and you have OBD 1.5. You would have to either use your existing wiring harness, or change over to OBD 2, but I'm not sure if you would have to change the firewall plug. IMO- I would just keep the stock '95 harness if you use the '96 motor.

Ok well my engine has 190 thousand miles on it..Is it worth the time and money to rebuild it and soup it up..as far as p&p and turbo and all that good stuff?
