  • How the heck r u to change crank sen 3.4L

Can someone please tell me how the heck you are supposed to change a crank sensor in a 91 GP GTP???? I can get my car running if I change it. Issue is I can't even see the darn bolt that holds it in and I certainly can't touch it! No space to work.

    KO juru's what gives???????

    TIA

Jack the car up and lower the rear of the subframe if you can't get to it. The manual trans had room but the auto probably doesn't.

You can get at the two bolts with a ratcheting wrench very easily if you tape it to another long wrench, takes a few tries but you can get it. Having very long handled locking pliers helps to get the harness on and off. A bit of determination and the right tools and no need to drop the sub-frame.

this proves that regardless of cost, Duct Tape>Life, even with the ridiculously high pricetag of ratchet wrenches, they still cant get the job done without good old duct tape

lol i cant win for losin! follow the advice of many, ive been going through all the old threads seeing what i can learn rather than just posting a question, and when reading through them every now & then ill forget that what im reading is 4 years old & make a post. thats how this happens, trust me if i was just doing it to do it-the last 30-40 2-3 year old threads ive read would have fresh replies, so , not me wanting to bring back an overly old thread just for shits & giggles.
