  • Steel fuel line

Is straight, formable fuel line available somewhere with the GM disconnect ends?

I've Googled and EBayed to no avail. None of the specialty hard line makers I called have the equipment to do it.

    Any suggestions?

    depends how much you need

the parts stores carry it (advance does anyway) up to about 18" long, mostly for making lines from rails to the flex lines off the frame area.

Well, that's just what I need it for. Thanks, I'll check that out.

IIRC, my machinist/hose maker guy managed to get the forming tools at a convention a couple years ago. Call Rossi's Engine & Drive Train in Gilroy, CA. 408-842-5950 and see if he has the equipment, if you dont find what you need at Autozone. I have definitely seen the Saginaw fittings on pipe in the Help section at the auto parts store. Also WCF can make the quick disconnect lines for the later style fuel fittings.
The thing you hae in the pic there, that looks like the end that actually goes into the fuel rail pressure regulator. I don't know what you're going to do about that end.

I finally attached a name, Saginaw, to this line end style. Then I come on line and you've got it in my post. I haven't tried the "Help!" section, guess I should 'cause I'm getting nowhere at parts counters and fuel injection shops here in town.
