90-95 EGR to 2000+ Manifold Adapter Blues

I purchased a 90-95 EGR to 2000+ Manifold Adapter from a forum members here to use on my 3500 swap. There is very little info on which egr tube will work with this adapter. I found reference to using a 96 egr tube, so I went to the pick n pull and busted a couple of knuckles to get one. I acquired the tube from a 96 Pontiac grand am (3100). Once I got it home, I found it will not fit. The mounting ears are off-centered from the tube. Can someone tell me which egr tube actually works with this adapter?

These are intended to be used with the 94-95 3100 egr tubes since those are the only ones that match up to the digital OBDI/1.5 EGR. The 96 tube is an OBDII egr so its different.

Thanks! I went back to the pick n pull and got a 94 tube. It fits perfectly. I believe the Wot-Tech store lists one of the gaskets as a 96, the gasket for the tube. This is the cause of confusion. One would normally assume since the application is to revert to the 94-95 EGR, the proper gaskets and flex tube would be either a 94 or 95 model.

Correct, but you still do need a 96, or 00+ gasket depending on what setup your using. If you have a pre 2000 intake you need the 96 tube and gasket's and then just the top 95 gasket for the EGR to bolt to the adapter plate. With the 2000+ intakes, you need the 00+ gasket to bolt the adapter to the intake, but then you need the pipe and all respective 94-95 gaskets since it all lines up. I originally designed and supplied these parts to WOT-Tech, but since it was hard for my guy to keep up on demand when needed and I wasn't making any money I told TCE they could duplicate my design and make them there instead since he has a better shop to get parts to Ben, mine was all done as side jobs. Since I designed the 00+ setup almost no one has bought or used a 96-99 intake so thats why he still has those in stock.
