  • Tuning question.

I was looking at the Gen II chips and see that it says this towards the bottom

"Gen 3 motor swaps have also been custom tuned, but nothing is available currently without the car being available to us for tuning."

so I am wondering, if I do go through with my hybrid build, or just rebuild the top end of a 3400 would I be able to bring it to you to be tuned?

I have a 3400 5 speed chip based on BFUZ (5 speed 3.1). I just sold a chip to a hybrid 3.1/3400 owner with the 260 grind. The multec 2 injectors and 00+ 3400 regulator are required and I am not even sure if it will run properly yet. This is a trial run basically to see how well it works. I have done modded motors but no one ever has the same setup for me to use those codes.

If you start doing more mods, I will need the vehicle. I would prefer to have it anyway to do the best job. long distance tunes are not something I want to get into because they are never as good as in person.

thats what I was also talking about, I pretty much plan on using your store to build my engine, hopefully I will get a 3400 bottom end in my cavalier, then get the 3500 top end swap (ported manifolds and reworked heads) and a throttle body, possibly stage 1 or 2 cam. I could also settle for just a built 3400, but either way I really want to swap out my 3.1 this summer, and I wouldn't mind hauling my car to you if I know its going to be tuned properly

I could certainly tune it if I had the car, and a complete 3400 build wouldn't be any more difficult for me to do than a 3.1 hybrid.
