doing a little research and although its not free, here is the new vbgarage
vb garage isnt being worked on anymore by the author, the open source is version 3.1.0 i think and thats only for vb 3.5
new version of the garage is called vbpicgallery, and it hink ti would make a nice addition to this site

vbpicgallery sucks IMO. GAGT.com uses it. I am currently working on a port of our old version of the garage, but it is far from being high on my priority list...
