  • Turbos section

I've seen lots of questions, confusion, and some people who actually know about turbos. How about an "In Depth" section on turbos, explaining trims, PS, and sizeing, the math on "how too's" would be nice too. You know since you have all this time on your hands Ben...

A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

Or at least a quick guide as to what turbos would be good on a 60 degree, 3400, TDC, etc. What sizes and what to expect... That way someone could just build their project, pick a well known working size, and carry on.

Like I know anything about turbo setups right now. If you want to do a write up, be my guest. Other people can add on to it easy enough as well so we can get more input. Same goes for any other article. Add your input to whats there or add new content since everything needs an update anyway.

When I have more free time (read not neck deep in projects) I'll search around and compile all the info I've been gathering. Might be a good idea to write down what turbos people are runnign with sucess too.

There is a thread on Realfierotech.com about this. Plotted maps and things of that nature.

Why so I can be one of the very few who actually know something about turbos? I don't think there are enough knowledgeable people here, as well as them not being here all the time, to warrant a whole section just to turbos. We have a boost section here. Its pretty much all turbo talk anyways.

We are talking about on the site not the forum. Boost forum is fine for all discussions but it would be nice to add the information on the site.
