  • New Picture Upload

Ok, since we were having a problem with the attachment mod (it wasn't showing the pictures that were being uploaded), I removed portions of it and installed a different modification. The new modification is only for images, but looking through our almost 900 current attachments, I'd say less than 5% of them were other that images anyway.

To use the new mod, when you go to post, there will be an UploadPic underneath all the BBCode buttons (and right above the posting box. Click that and a popup will open (if you have a popup blocker turned on, you might need to disable it for this site). Browse for the picture, open it, resize if you want, rotate if you want, then hit send. The popup reloads showing the picture, when you can select STANDARD insert or go back to select a different picture. Or you can select to upload more pictures as well. Once you hit STANDARD, an [ IMG ] tag with the link will show up in your message. Simple as that!

If you want to post the picture at a later date, you can goto your GALLERY from the first popup and see all of the pictures you have uploaded. Again, select a STANDARD insert and you are done.

I'm not sure if I'm going to or not, but I may add a 60V6 watermark to each uploaded image. This way, if you link to it from somewhere else, people will know where its hosted from. That way people won't be tempted to steal all of our bandwidth without giving us some credit.

    Testing out the Watermark...

As the title states, testing out how the watermark feature works...

Hmm... might need to keep messing with it.

Red would show up well. And I'm not being biased. :grin

However, gif files don't work. Changes to jpg.
