Just wanted to update everyone on the status of the site updates...
As you can see, we now have a front page once again. I need to work on a way to make it the main page when the site is loaded, but that will come with some time. I don't think it will take too long, but you never know.
All of the article sections are back up, but none of the articles are back as of yet. Once I get access to the old database, it shouldn't take me very long at all to get everything copied over. I hope for that to be done this week at the latest. Since everything will have changed address-wise, none of the old links to articles in the forum will work anymore, so we'll have to deal with helping people when they search with re-directing them to the proper location.
I'm still working on the color scheme, so if you see wierd things happen while you are online, don't fret. Hopefully none of the theme testing will affect the status of the site. I have a test site up and running on a different server, so I'll try to do most of the theme testing over there and then implement it over here.
Added a new mod to the search feature (at Marty's request)... At the top of the forum, you can now search for new posts with various time criterias, ranging from 5 minutes, to a couple hours, or even up to a month I think. This is handy if you started checking the new posts, but got dragged away from the site. Check it out, as I think most people will find it useful.
I still have a few other mods that I want to implement as well, but my main goal is to get the articles back up. As of right now, I don't have access to the old DB, so I'm doing other stuff to pass the time...
