Im in the process of working on the CMS (front page) integration piece. I wanted to have it done before the transistion but, as with most of us, the holidays are a very busy time for me. Rest assured there is more to come. We had to get moved over this past weekend, no exceptions, so I opted to make sure the forum was working smoothly first as that is the #1 most important piece.

I hope to have the front page finished and tested over this weekend as Im at the family home and we are having a very low-key christmas. The new CMS system will support RSS feeds and various types of content syndication. Drop down menus may not be availble at first but I am working on that as well.

As for server space, we have a large amount and I host multiple car sites and forums. The idea being donations and money coming in from the various sites allows me to subsdise smaller sites like 660. We have plenty of space to the how-to videos that have been discussed and Im even in the process of setting up either a streaming server, a mirror or bit torrent to distrubuite the large video files.

We are on a shared server with over 250gig monthly transfer and almost 20gigs of hard storage (3.5gig reserved to 660 as of now). As things grow i may transtion everything over to a dedicated server but for now this is good.

As of now I am hosting 660 pro-bono and should be that way for the immideate future. Im actually using the car forums as a testbed for a service I am putting togehter for a personal business. All goes well my paying customers will subsdise all the car sites Im running so at least as far as the internet costs go it wont cost anyone hardly anythig but personal time to run the sites.

Just so its clear I have no intention of changing how this site is run. My role here is simply to provide the hardware and technical muscle to give Ben and Brad the best system possible to work with in making 60v6 the way they see fit.

Dont worry guys its coming together, theres just never enough hours in the day.

Brad and I need SQL access and for the SQL database to not be temporary or whatever it is that keeps putting the site down. Id be happy with that much right now, especially since my store no longer exists and I would like to get started on it.

                        My time/date is all jacked up.. it reads "%b %27, %2005 - %0"

If I am not logged in and as a guest I can see the time/date fine.
Also whats up with all the icons just plopped at the bottom of the screen?

                        ???

Ok, the new layout is done. I still need to work on the theme, but that can be done later.

As soon as I get access to the old articles, I will get those back up ASAP as well.

Is anyone else having a problem with the date/time showing up correctly? I keep seeing it in PHP code.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.
