  • I love this site!!!

Just wanted to express my gratitude towards this web site. I have been surfing the for qiute some time and have read ALOT of forums on other websites. This is the ONLY ONE that i am a memeber and proud to say so. All my friends are asking how i got to be knowlegeable on these "660" cars, and i tell'em "60Degreev6 man, you just can't belive the knowlege on there." Seriously, all you people on here are great. I have yet to see anybody argue on something (in a bad way), or somebody try to "out bench-race" one another, and at times i feel like i am talking to some engineers on these cars/drivetrains. I think GM would do pretty well if they had people like on this site working for them, then maybe they would make enjoyable cars that people want to buy and keep. ( like my '95 GA, i love that thing, never will part with it!!) Any ways, just want to say "Thanks" to all on this site, i really appreciate haveing this forum.
Don\'t hate me because I\'m horny.

    RE: I love this site!!!

Its always nice to hear comments like this. We work our butts off (every now and again) to keep this site as up-to-date as possible. And we also try to get as much information on the entire family as possible so that we can live up to our title - The BEST source for ALL your GM 60º V6 needs. But of course, without all the knowledgable AND dedicated people out there tweaking these engines, we would just be another random website out on the internet.

As far as keeping the forum professional, that is one of our main goals, and always has been. If you want to talk trash, take it somewhere else. If you want to talk in-depth mechanics, bring it on and see what the people on there can come up with.

And oddly enough, the majority of the people on here are shadetree mechanics. I know we have a few GM certified techs on here, as well as several ASE techs. We also have techs in various other automotive areas (tranny techs, etc). And although they don't post, I do know we have a least a couple people inside GM Powertrain that visit every so often and are also suprised at the amount of knowledge of this engine we have on here.

But just as it has always been, it wouldn't be anything without all of the people that just stumble across the site and bring up something new that continues to make the site grow, not only in members, but also in knowledge and information.

Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

We can all thank Hemet8 as well. You can see he is a donating member now. I won't disclose the amount but its gonna help out a ton Im looking for a new theme right now, to make the new site look all pretty:P Im thinking flowers and rainbows, how about you?

As brad said, we wouldn't have such a wonderful site if it weren't for the people in our past and present helping with information, time, and donations. I sure hope we stay this way...cause I don't get a kick out of banning people:P I get a kick out of someone learning and doing something with the information.

I hear josh wants to make some videos for walkthroughs to put on the site and maybe dvd Im down for some multimedia on the site.

I personaly love how it has sort of become a family around here.

We offer to help each other out, in alot of cases go out of our way to do so. We also defend each other when some ignorant bastards get on us. We also back each others advise they give when we know it is right. Plus, we've learned each others knowledge and expertise and point others in their direction.

All of these things combined, make a very efficient way to build this knowledge base as well as a great way to distribute it.

I'm sure this is what the first creators of the internet invisioned how the internet should be. This is truly the best site on the net.

          I love you guys.

I knew that rainbow and flower theme wouldn't go to waste:P

Now we need people that like to type out news submissions and we will be all set.

Well, since we are getting all mushy,..I appreciate this site also. Keeps me on the ball about my car and out of bars. Also my downloading of porn is at an all time minimum.

And I hope in some way, I've either helped, made you smile, (Maybe laugh out loud), or made you think. I do come up with some bizzare theories, but so was the horseless carriage. And that thing never worked!

When I first read some of the items on this site about my car, I was ready to sell it. Lil' Bitch is still in my driveway.

Thanx to the 660 team, from one of the "oldest" members. (Glad you don't discriminate on age!)
