  • Questions about the orgins of the site

I remember 60 degree from gm forums but I was wondering if anybody had the exact details of why it got shut down. I used to stay on the x-body forums for my now dead nova and on the 60 degree side for my brothers s-10.

RE: Questions about the orgins of the site

Somewhere in there sums up the GMF issue...

But the site was started before we became part of GMF. It was originally a Yahoo groups message board, with alot of specific info about the engines on GPXSS's 60V6 Performance site.

There are probably 12-20 of the original members still hanging out reqularly around here.

I need to update my location... I'm currently in Bella Vista, although I still work in Rogers. Yeah, there aren't too many of us on here.

Damn Brad! You are in Wal Mart heaven! :P Bet you see a lot of JB Hunt trucks too. You should have lived there before the bypass was built. Whew! It sucked.

          (I kinda know the area.)

I think of it more like Wal-Mart hell... I work for an engineering consulting firm, of which ~80% of the work is for Wal-Mart. Luckily, I'm part of the non-Wal-Mart division, but even we do plenty of Wal-Mart work. I don't think I could handle doing basically the same thing over and over again everyday...

And yeah, I see a few JB Hunt trucks... In fact, they are currently adding onto their building.

            But back on topic...
