  • Improved Search

Well, the overall search hasn't really improved. All I did was add a forum search to the main site itself. So, now when you enter a search into the box on the main page, it will return results from the forum as well. It not as good as I'd like it, so I might have to work with the code some to see if I can tweak it to my liking. But at least its a start. I also realized I need to add main search functions for the pushrod and VVT areas as well. That might help people find information that is on the main site, as well as browsers of the main site to find topics in the forums.

Awesome, glad you are doing that and not me. Something would be catching on fire if I had to even think about changing code.

Just kidding. Some people might have noticed that when I was messing with it, there were some issues with the site. I was trying to get the language file updated so that it would say something that made sense for the search instead of _SEARCH_FORUMS_xxxx. I had forgotten to put a quote around a couple areas, so I kept getting errors. But I had it fixed in about 5 minutes, so it wasn't too bad. Yeah, messing with the code should be fun. I can see from the comments areas that I would like to edit, but I can't tell what the code is doing exactly. So it may just stay the way it is. We will see....

Yeah, HTML and PHP code are what I was talking about. Of course, if I was tuning using the hex values only, id probably be insane by now as well:P
