  • Who writes the myths part of this site?

Pretty funny stuff. I'd describe the devices that are written about almost exactly the same. Thanks to whoever for the entertaining read.

RE: Who writes the myths part of this site?

I wrote those a long time ago and im sure we could expand on it some more I was really fed up with all the posts on the various boards I visited talking about all those devices.

ROFL! That would be kinda funny for this site to have, but the idiots on clubgp already think we sit around bashing their motor as it is.

          Myth: L67 SWAP:

"Many people claim they're going to do it (like putting "L67 swap comming soon" in their sig) but it never happens when they realize they cannot figure out how to bypass the passkey. So it's a myth. "

i know its off topic, and probably a stupid question. isnt that the supercharged motor from the gtp? do you have to use the 3800 ecm with that swap? why couldnt you just use your ecm with the motor, and all the necesarry boost controls? with boost your motor is bigger anyways, i wouldnt think it could tell if it was a 3.8sc, or a really boosted 3.1. both flow XXXcfm.

so the L67 swap is not THAT good ?

                sure i know a guys here with a Cavalier 3800 4 speed auto and at the Drag strip , he's been beat by a 3400 z24 5 speed ...

just for this i think that this swap dont worth the penny ...

haha, in the '70s it would have been a bumper sticker instead of a sig!
