  • unofficial store opening...kinda:P

Well, i am waiting on some samples and catalogues...and I will be asking for part numbers from those that may know them anyway, you can visit the store and check out the few things I have added so far.

We will be adding ARP fasteners, Performance Friction brake pads, heat shielding products, including the same materials used by NASA/Boeing, some stuff to make brake cooling and cold air intakes, radiator fans, RedLine products, etc. I still have to add some more ported parts like manifolds, and the pushrod heads. I am also hoping russ can make the head options much easier to deal with instead of seperate items for cleaning, decking, pressure checking, etc. This is a very basic, very new store setup and I appreciate all feedback. I will work on it as I get more info and pricing.

      Hurray!

      Looks very good.

I think maybe you should have the optional extras for the heads as drop down menus on the heads page. IE. The title (text) then a drop down menu under it.

      Pressure Testing:
      Yes +$35
      No

      Decking:
      Yes +$50
      No

Then have a little pop-up window linked to the title of the option describing it.

lol, Umm... I'd love to! Do you take IOUs? haha j/k

But yeah, the prices look real, real awesome. Not like the outragous ones on other sites. How does the core charge work?

Im hoping russ can hook it up so they are checkboxes or whatever to add the options. Core charge, I am going to have to stock up on cores I am hoping to have it as a 30 day turn around for the core charge refunds.

I need to get some pics for now of the machine shop options...at least until I find out for sure what my options are for using checkboxes. Other than that, im just waiting on the info for the other products. I will have the pushrod heads up as soon as I figure out pricing and options.

Another suggestion, you should offer SI valves through your site.

I was reading the heads section and it said intake and ehaust valves are optional, another option to that should be SI valves... I don't remember how much lighter than stock they were, probably someone else remembers.

They arent lighter than stock valves, and I wont be offering them. I would rather sell ferrea valves. Someone else is looking into valve options as well to list on the site, and I will know more about that whenever he knows more

I will have the brake line numbers by tomorrow.

it took me forever to notice the "categories" section at the top left!

If you have controll over site design, maybe make picture lings or something?

oh and 800 for a head port?! HOLY #$@&

Yeah, its VERY basic at the moment, and I never see Russ online anymore I have more products up...but they are hidden cause I dont have pricing on them yet. That menu is going to get redone for sure, its way too small to stand out.

The head porting prices are for porting only, no machine work or new valve seals or anything. I need to test some other DOHC springs to see if they work (stiffer) and get a source that isn't retail for gaskets and such. Its going to take a long time to get everything I want on the site.

A"Specialized Tool" section would be nice. Cam hold downs, scan tools, etc. And the plans for your Hi-Tech Porting box.... :P (or is that a trade secret?)

Ill have to see what I can get as far as special tools go. The porting box is ultra top secret...and shipping would be soo expensive anyway:P
