Email notification and replies...

If we had email notification that had what the new post was listed in the body and email replying (both like gmf had), wouldn't that help cut down on bandwidth? Or maybe for the people that only go in certain areas, maybe have an email notification when there was a new topic (kind of like the mod area on gmf also). I might be talking out of my ass right now since the forum is so new, but figured I would toss it out there.

I think those are great ideas. I especially like the idea of being able to browse new topics without having to hunt them down. Maybe there would be a way of gathering new threads onto the site somewhere rather than emails... I dunno but either way it would be nice.

I dont know how I would have it email you the posts made. We already have email notification, or should anyway.

All I pretty much use is quick reply to type my posts out on here after it was available. I used it on this post, FYI, to help test to make sure it isn't working with quick reply.
