Email notification link not working...

Ok, not that this is a huge issue, but sometimes the email notication link will not work for me. It says that the topic does not exist. Example, the thread that Brad wrote to Federal-Mogul about Fel-Pro gasket numbers.

Now I know they will be different because of the simple fact that it's supposed to take me to the newest reply, but it still doesn't work. Any certain reason this happens?

Ive had that happen a few times as well. I simply dont care, mostly because there is nothing I can do:P

When you click the link and it says this topic does not exist, I think ti is becuz the topic was moved. That was my guess cuz it has done it to a few of my topics that I'm pretty sure were moved.

But it happens to me every now and then.

Yeah, I don't really care because I usually skim over the forums after checking my email anyways. I was just curious is all.

Yah I just usually check the emails, then just skim for new posts real quick after I check the last email.

Another problem, every time I click the link and go to the topic, when i hit reply I have to enter my name/pw EVERY TIME. And every time I hit remember my name/pw. That pisses me off, and I think its the mods way of controlling my posting becuz they know I have a chronic case of severe type 2059720357023975 laziness.

Or you blocked the cookie... that's why you have to log-in each time.


BTW, having the topic moved shouldn't matter because the link he got in the email refers to the post NUMBER.... Considering each post is made in succession, it shouldn't matter WHERE the post is, it should search for the number.... right?
