I just sent an email to Federal-Mogul about getting a complete listing of Fel-Pro gaskets for all of the 60šV6s. If they are willing, then I will be making a page (or section) that will have the complete listing of the gaskets and their part numbers. I think this will be helpful for everyone, so you will never have to worry about trying to search for PNs anymore.. at least for gaskets. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon. When I do, I'll let everyone know what's going on.

THANK GOD.
Cuz it is a pita to first convince the chick at Autozone that I really do have a 3.4L and I didn't swap it in, and that I have a 5-speed. They have to scroll down on their computer in order to see Z34 coupe. But Lumina is at the bottom, without scrolling. So I have to explain that they have to scroll down. God it pisses me off soooooo much.
So thx!

Well your first problem is going to Autozone, Aaron, lol. I used to get sick of Advance's computer not showing Z34 when I got parts for the 91, so I started saying it was a 92 because there is a Z34 listing in 92, but not 91. The only problem is they might get confused at the cheaper parts stores (Advance and Autozone) if they don't have to search for the part numbers if people start bringing them in already, lol. I still think it's a great idea Brad!-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Well, I haven't recieved a reply yet. Not sure if I will. But anyway, I did about 30 minutes of research and came up with a list for a 94 3100. This may not be a complete listing, but I think it covers just about everything. If anyone sees something that is missing, let me know. I'll try to do a DOHC listing sometime today as well and get it up for you DOHC owners.

Here is a listing for a 91 (thru 93?) DOHC:
Its on the new site, so check it out. The new site also allows you to print it out, which could be very handy when you do to buy gaskets.-Brad-

Here is a 2000 3400 listing...
While doing this, I noticed that there are 2 different head gaskets for the 3100: a normal, and a severe duty. Anyone know the difference between the 2, besides the severe duty ones being almost twice as expensive?-Brad-

Well like Brad and I discussed on IM, the Severe Duty head gasket is not MLS (multi layered steel), and the only GM engine FelPro had listed for an MLS gasket was for a 1.8 DOHC Geo Prizm engine. Out of any engines in the GM line I can think of that would need a better gasket then stock, a Prizm falls at the end of my list.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

I work at advance auto, my opinion is to why you get bad service at these chain stores is that these companies are so large that they would rather pay someone who doesn't know jack about anything automotive really low pay than pay an experienced knowlegeable person the wage they would deserve. Then, in order to spend the least amount of payroll as possible they keep their stores understaffed, so the person waiting on you really can't put in the time nessesary to find some parts or the store will get backed up on custormers.95 Monte Carlo z34

That's not true for all branches. The Advance stores we have around here are pretty decent. I would choose Advance around here over Autozone any day of the week. When I got hired in there, they actually gave me a test and asked me to name all of the fuel system components from the fuel tank forward. Then I asked the guy if he wanted the EFI system or carbed, lol.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

bszopi man your on the right track. PNs of any kind would be kool. Ive got a Napa Autozone ORileys CarQuest close. Advance ( I like ) is hour away. Seems like I frequent Napa alot. But my buddies kid works at Autozone and has got to be one of their best parts guys in the area. Still I will only buy certain items from Autozone... Better watch some of their electrical stuff.2004 Grand Am GT 3400 ... I had the right to remain silent, I just didn't have the ability.(Ron White)

Not a problem for me, i usually look up all part numbers ahead of time on carparts.com, then take the number with me to make sure it matches what they bring up. This way, I can look up dif years and makes/models to get what I want.
Ive never had a problem giving them a p/n and having them get it for me without looking anything up.I modify stuff
