i am using google chrome
may have something to do with the &noquote=1 when using the the blue reply button
What site theme are you using as well? I guess I'll have to DL Chrome and do some testing. I know there are some issues with Chrome, but I think they are mainly cosmetic, not functionality.

I don't have a box anymore to type in unless I hit the "reply" or "reply with quote" button - I liked it when I could type in the box and hit one button - the connection at the shop is borderline crawling and that makes it so I have to wait for another page load before replying even
The blue button and the reply button do the same thing, but the difference in the URL just has to do with how/where the quick reply post box is located via AJAX. If you click on the reply on the right, the box pops up directly before the post where you are replying at. The blue button just loads it at the bottom of the page (which is where you have to be anyway to click it).
I am about to DL Chrome and test it out.
John, as far as your issue, just click "reply" once and it will display the box. It doesn't have to load a new page, as its already there, just hidden. Now, if you double click "reply", then it goes to advanced reply and does load a new page.
