Obviously you haven't read any of the other posts asking for help from the community to get the articles back up, or listing the temp location for the articles...

Sorry to sound harsh. Its just that Ben and I have done 95% of the work on the site over the past 6-7 years, and when we ask for help from the community, everyone always talks about how they'd like to help. In the end, nothing is ever done. Right now, neither Ben or I have the time to do our everyday work, plus keep the site operating, and then add content. This is a community site that needs help from the community to survive. I have, numerous times, and in numerous locations, linked people to where the articles currently are. I have also spelled out what I would like to see some people do. If everyone took 5 minutes out of a single day, went to the old articles, copied and pasted to a new article, everything would be back up on the new setup in just a couple days. But it seems no one has the time to even do 1 article....

Oh, and I just realized I may have some permissions set wrong (stupid admin privledges!). I can see the Family Tree, but it appears no one else can. There are also some newer articles that are not viewable to non-members. I want to make everything viewable to everyone, so I need to go through all the permissions and see what's going on. Dusterbd13, if you still have questions on what to do after reading either of those links, let me know and I will direct you further. Thanks!

No problem. Hope I didn't sound too mean.

Were you able to find the old articles? Was there something in particular you were looking for?

Yup, I searched google and they still had the old site in cache... I was just looking for the family tree for some info... I totally understand how getting asked the same questions over and over can make a guy lash out... I am glad that you did find a simple(relatively) permissions fix for some of it at least.

              Thanks for running this site!
