Yeah, still needs work though. The main page for it is beyond screwed up, and the engine is a little low (on my screen at least). Some of the colors don't work well, either...

I dont know if it's IE 8 or something, but when typing a LONG message this quick reply box has major scroll issues... if you try to scroll down in it and the click somewhere it will snap back up to the top and put the cursor there... I had to stop moving the mouse all together and just use the arrow keys to get where I wanted to edit. It was almost like the mouse movement was making the box scroll to the top. Very odd... May be an issue specific to me though, so unless someone else has the same experience then just ignore me... LOL

yeah its just you i tried copy and pasting a ton of (iuguiguiguiguguguguiiug) over and over and it scrolled down fine for me and let me put the cursor wherever i wanted and it stayed there. the box also automatically scrolled down by itself when i added the text.

worked fine in firefox but in opera it just side scrolled into oblivion. i just tried it in IE8 and got the same results Jon did. scroll to go to the end of the text and it snaps back to the middle.

Wow, everything looks really screwed up on IE7 at work... Maybe I should have waited a little bit longer. Oh well, too late now!

              LOL

Bnet board still acts kinda funny with IE8 too, so it seems like IE8 is a bit harder to get things to work right.

The text on the dark drop down menus for things like Thread Tools, Rate This Thread and Display is dark, making it almost impossible to read unless you highlight it. The stars on the Rate This Thread are a giveaway at least and we got our chat bar back, and it's using our friends list again.

The way vbulletin did the styling sucks. I was trying to fix some of the drop down issues yesterday, only to figure out that they used the same variable for all dropdowns, but have different variables for other aspects of the different dropdowns. Therefore, if I fix, lets say, the font color, it works with the background for XX dropdowns, but not for the background of YY dropdowns. Its a pain, but I'll figure it out eventually...

As far as the chat bar and the friend's list, yeah, I need to edit the code again to pull the online users instead of the friends. Robert, not sure why you can't see the chat bar. Maybe clear the cache yet again?

I just thought of something on the chatbar. Are you using the White Pixel theme? If so, I don't have the chatbar code in there yet, as it was just a style I was messing with lastnight (and I should have turned off, but oh well). It is currently only available on the Blue Fluid theme.

So the text box crap doesn't happen in the White Pixel theme? That's wierd...

Chatbar fixed to show online users. Still not sure why you don't see it.

i am WAY over my head....

and now it's doing it with the white pixel too!

except i think it takes more lines to happen.

i'm turning on the caompatibility mode. supposedly, that was the fix for the old W-body forum when it did it.

So it is a compatibility issue with IE8 and the board.

I've seen a bunch of websites I view have to switch over to compatibility mode.... WTF did Microsoft do with IE8, besides fuck it up as typical.
