sofa, your sig pic is too wide for my 1024x768 screen.

I will look at the code and see if I can modify it to do what we want. HAHA!

Oh boy, can we say "Server down time"?

I hate widescreen monitors with a passion unless your watching a widescreen movie or playing a game that is enhanced with widescreen capable systems... Other than that, its typically a waste and 90% of websites I browse dont even use the extra width, they were built to be displayed on a 4:3 ratio screen.

This is why I still run my 19" LCD at home and have yet to buy a widescreen... I've also had that monitor for about 4 years at least.

SOON though, soon I will be also hooked up to my 65" Mitsubishi tv Then maybe I'll play some games in widescreen format

Brad, ahhhh I see. That would be fine.

Yeah the widescreen I'd rather have for TV not computers. I've got used to it since they are pretty high res for the height, but still turn it 90* and use the extra LENGTH so you don't have to scroll......... Games are pretty sweet though in widescreen once you apply the right settings so they render right and don't just stretch. When I bought my 22" there wasn't any non-wide monitors that were not super expensive...... They are doing away with 4:3...

I wish though that they would make monitors with IPS/MVA/PVA etc so the viewing angle would be clean and not go light/dark/strange colors. Really sucks when you do graphics work when you don't know what color you have because at different angles and spots on the monitor from where you view it's a totally different color and shade.... Hell they make TV's with the good panels... Even the high end LED back lit models for PC's now are coming out, they still use TN panels!!! WTF!!! Widescreens make it worse. The monitor I'm looking at the edges are yellow right now........ Top is light bottom is dark... ugh.

im actually using a 20" NEC lcd at 1600x1200 instead of the 20" widescreen i have hooked up to my other computer. very rarely use the widescreen one.

at the time i bought the widescreen they were still a little up there in price which is why i stopped at 20", they just got alot higher in price after that. then when the cord on my old crt 17" nec monitor decided it didnt want to work anymore and since its built into the monitor, i got the 20" nec lcd we had in the box downstairs.

as far as tv's go you cant buy one thats not widescreen unless its one of those stupid small tv's you take camping.
