Borla is one of the leading manufacturers of performance exhaust systems. Borla makes a kit for the Chevy Monte Carlo that will fit W-body cars as well. Although a bit pricey, you cant get better quality than Borla.
You will always hear a debate about which mufflers to go with, so take into account what you are looking for. Performance mufflers can sound raspy or have a low rumble, depending on what kind of flow they have and the design they use. For most 60V6 engines, you won't need the highest flowing mufflers as they are designed for V8s.
Header Options - FWD
The Other Guys finally released their headers. The owner of APOC was the first to test them out and saw gains of 18 hp on his modded gen 3 motor. I will see about before and after dyno sheets so that you can see the whole picture here. These headers are unequal length and have varying diameter for the primary tubes. Given that equal length is a better design, you will most likely be forced to make your own if you want the optimal performance from your engine. This company specializes in high quality headers. They currently have a line for RWD 2.8's and 3.4's.
As soon as we figure out the table formatting in php, the list we used to have here for RWD headers will be back. For now I want to explain that I doubt you will want to use any of them anyway. Check the In Depth area for the header design to learn more. Essentially, they are more than likely un equal length (important), the collector sizes may be too large and the diameters may be wrong as well. You should find out the dimensions on any set of headers you buy.
