Anything to add for head work? Also, I need to add the valve job info. I know the valve seat angle is 45 degrees. I have a book that has some info but I am making all posts here for updates.

Pushrods help push the air in the engine, kinda like a turbo or S/C, lol. That's why they are called pushrods silly!-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

ben on SBC's the pushrods sit so close to the intake ports that the castings have a bend in area the pushrod pinch area, where the intake port closes in due to the way the heads are cast..
