      It's you ... actually the 3500 gasket and manifold are considerably larger so what you are seeing is the carbon build up around the ports.

                    Glad to hear...I cant wait for mine to come together...we will have to trade some DHP files once you get that beast boosted. A write up for a sicky would be a great idea if you are into it as this the future of alot of our cars. Thanks for sharing

                          Even the 3900 valve covers will bolt on.

                            what are the major issues if I use these on my 3.1L Block instead of going with the 3400 heads? By the way I am building a Hybrid.
                            I dont know what this means but "ASS HATS" is funny

                              why build a 3.1?? swap in a 3400 and 3500 heads and youll have WAY MORE FUN... lol

                                it's possible that he doesn't want to deal w/ the mount issue with the J-bodies. it's not a big expenditure but it's just one more thing he doesn't have to deal with then....

                                that's part of the reason that i'm not going 3400, although i could get one easy and cheap. Plus i'm getting a great deal, since i already have a 90k mile 3.1 and a smokin' deal on everything for a hybrid. I'm shooting to beat a lot of stock/minor modded 3400 swaps.....

                                Cammed 3400 --> 224whp 210wtq
                                Cammed 3500 --> ???
