My engine is currently 50 miles away, so I can't measure it myself this weekend. Does anyone know or can measure the lifter bore spread on a RWD Gen 1 from centerline to centerline from intake to exhaust? I'm trying to get some hydraulic roller lifters custom made, and that's all the info left I need.

prolly wanna try 1000 of an inch, if ur off by 1-1000 of an inch ur screwd trust me!! You will need the lifters to be 1 or 1-1/2 1000 of an inch smaller than the bore for clearnce kuss of the oil..Last edited by Ortie666; 08-26-2006, 04:23 AM.VIDEO Acadian http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...7f00197eea.htm

I'm not talking about the bore diameter. Just the distance between the two bores from center line to center line. It shouldn't have to be exact, since the link bars will have to be slotted to allow the size of the distance between the two link bar hinges changes as one raises and the other remains in on the base circle. Mainly I just trying to get the proper link rod length.1991 GMC Syclone #449 - Stock
