Hey guys, another question (tried search but didnt really come up with anything that helped).
I want to run a performance cam in my 2.8, I am looking at the following kit:
Comp K16-233-4
The description says there is some lope to the idle, and that it has good power. I want to know if this cam is going to cause the computer to have problems which will require re-programming. I have been told that the more radical cams have lower/erratic vacuum which will play havok with the computer.
I guess my next question would be how do I go about re-programming the computer/getting it re-programmed? I am not afraid of complex electronics or computer things, and would love to get set up to re-program the computer myself so that I can tune the car without having to go to a shop all the time.
