Hi, guys. I am new to the forum, was referred here by a fellow on the Grasroots Motorsports forum.
Anyway, to get to the point. I am planning on rebuilding a 2.8 out of am 88 celebrity that had been run dry of oil. I was searching the web looking for prices on kits and such and came across this site:
http://www.engine-parts.com/GMV6/gm2831stkr.html
It looks like I can get the whole she-bang to put the 3.1 crank/rods/pistons into this 2.8 to make it into a 3.1. The only thing is, I have no idea how much these guys want for the kit. Has anyone here bought from ARI? I guess the next question would be, can I just buy the parts for a 3.1 and get the same thing?
I am sorry if this is a thread highjack, but it seems like this topic was right in line with my questions.1980 MGB Roadster - V6 engine swap commencing....
