No I don't ever recall them making vehicle specific sizes. You should just measure your battery and buy one the same or as close as you can.

It can be installed on the 99+ n-bodies. You have to trim one side of the battery tray to get one of the sizes to fit if I recall.

they used to make one for the civic/miata guys in a D51R footprint, however they dont anymore... only the regular sizes. I'm sure you'll have no problems finding the correct sized battery, just go to a battery store.

On another note, have you ever thought about getting an Exide orbital battery? same type of technology, less costy.

I have that black battery terminal grease on my postive post, and it's fine, never corroded at all.

i have a Yellow top in my car. They are side post and top post batteries. So they should work on every vehicle. There are different sizes available

Optima sells a direct-fit Red Top. Their part # is 8022-091 and the model # is 75/35. It has both the Delco-style side terminals and normal top-mount post terminals. Got mine from BatteryWeb.com for about $85.00 (although that was several years ago).

Yeha! I work at Sears and they have gone up to $138.00 I don't think they are any better than the Die Hard golds. I've seen quite a few of the old Optima's returned cause they're bad after a year or two. Only positive thing about them is they'll never leak. I'll buy a gold for $75.
