3.1 aluminum heads

Does anyone know what is involved in using the 3.1 aluminum heads with the TBI or Carburated intake manifold on 2.8 s-10 thanks

It won't work unless you make adaptor plates or do a custom intake. Better off doing the top end swap.

or you can make a intake manafold that fits a 4 bbl but be ready for problems, kuss it has the same effect as a tunnel-ram... I did it, and if you are really intrested i could send you some pics, or even make one... because aluminum heads on the flat-top pistons are "key" thay are somewere in the range of 12 to 12.5 : 1 compression ratio from my calculations
