Well its been a while but I did get her all finished. Had to modify the engine mount because the Canton filter adaptor is fairly large. But it is a badass part. I am glad I bought it. Extremly high quality and a very precise. The passages are large for flow and it is all anodized.
That is the Canton Racing filter adaptor. If anyone is thinking of a remote setup on any vehicle this company is the way to go. I am thinking of ditching the cast filter mount from Trans Dapt and buying hte Canton billet mount. The quality is amazing.
So anyway the filter adaptor fits the block perfectly. It clears the tranny brace and lower part of the block. It can also be positioned in any orientation thaks to its design. After mounting the adaptor all I had to do was attach the lines which was pretty simeple. I had a hose supplier make me some 1/2" stainless lines so it was a simple install. The lines set me back $100 but the lines are true teflon/stainless and all the fittings are stainless too. I installed the oil pressure sender in the oil filter mounting bracket. I actually like this better than stock because it is way out of the heat.
So now I have a huge 1 quart filter and am running Red Line Synthetic. It is the best Synthetic oil you can buy period. I have extended my drain intervals and without a word of a lie I now see at least 75more Km to a 60L tank if gas versus dyno oil.
There is a pic of the new location before the lines went on. Don't worry it does not hang below the frame. Filter changes are a piece of cake now
I will get more pics later on of the modified engine mount and the final installation.
