    OK so maybe I'm annoying. a 3900? differant block from what I can see, more than just a punch issue. run this through your head.

    think there is a way to lock out the telescoping lifters to make all six cylinders run all the time at max lift, make a 3.5 or custom intake to fit so we can runa 65mmor larger TB to fit, and make it work with OBD1? Will the sensors fit? can we make them fit? hey the motor used is just as much as a 3400.

    A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
    Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
    Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
    PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

    I think you'd probably need the 7x adapter crank trigger setup.
    You might be able to control the valves with a window switch. Probably control the varible intake with a window switch too. At X RPMS activate the intake to go for high flow short runner...

    Joseph Upson is going to run the 3900 in his fiero it seems. Might want to talk to him about what he has researched on what needs to be done.

      Ya it'd be cool to have 240hp NA to start with as a base, and then add a turbo or supercharger on top of that platform. What a combo that would be. Just dump the stock intake and top it off with a supercharger instead heh.

      4.0L(after bore 3.917 and stroke 3.3485),carrillo sbc rods(narrowed),wiseco custom forged pistons 8.5:1 CR, TCE Double Roller timing chain, gen 3 cam, P&P heads, headers 1 3/4 primaries into 3-1 collector, and going to run ms2.
