  • Fuel Pressure Clarification

I've looking around here and dc.com and I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. There are all kinds of #s being thrown around.

I need to know this because I'm trying to tune with an AFPR. So what are the Idle/WOT pressures.

    2.8L/3.1L
    Pre-2000 3x00
    2000+ 3x00

    Thanks,
    Joseph

At 100 kPa (Open Vacuum, car not running)

    1999 3400 = 284-325 kPa (41-47 psi)
    2000+ 3400 = 358-405 kPa (52-59 psi)

Not sure on some of the older applications...

      3.1L/3100 = 40-47 psi IIRC

That's what the shop told me for idle pressure, as he showed me my pressure jumping around from 30-35 then it randomelly dieing from not enough pressure (fuel pump went bad).
