Forget the 2 bar map unless its needed for a trans setting or something. Im not sure what all is used on a MAF setup for the MAP input so check into that.

Actually before using the stock code I would remove at least 10 degrees of timing from both the good and bad fuel tables. Also the 2 bar MAP is needed to let the computer know when the engine is under boost. The 1 bar MAP will never recognize it.

And you only need to remove timing from the bottom rows (higher cylinder pressures). Then, eliminate some of the torque management by making the A/F in the TM area richer, make sure the injectors are never cut. If you want to keep any TM, only pull timing for safety.

I got my Powertuner, so Im just starting to be familar with it, but Im going to order that MAF and put it in. Lets hope it runs better. I hope everyone now knows how crappy RSM is. Over priced and cheap workmanship.

See my picture for where you need to put it. It should be the last item before the TB. Did you check a bone yard first? You could get one a lot cheaper there...

post #26 the attachment. The pic is from an RSM setup. I circled where what looks like a maf after the K&N filter. Not sure if that's one or not, but it's not the optimal spot for it that's for sure. Looks like the MAF is there in the pic, but hard to tell..

Where I marked with the line you need to put the MAF there after the blow off valve that's after the supercharger. Work it in somewhere between the couplers.
