3400 top end swap

Well, to be honest, no one knows what headers and 3400 intake manifolds will do.....no one has done it. So my prediction would be completely worthless as it wouldn't be based on fact...only what I think.

Saying that.....stock 3100s seem to make 122 whp. Headers are worth 18...140 whp....my dyno chart says an intake is worth 5 whp....145....FFP says there UDP makes 5 whp......150 whp.....exhaust seems to make 7 whp....157. Now, the manifolds....I honestly don't even no where to begin to guess these on a motor that has everything else correctly done. Think you can make 11 whp of these? I don't know.

Just as long as you are getting headers...good....great. Very good and very great in fact.

Now, how much is the 3400 upper intake manifold swap going to cost you? Keep this in mind.....I did my 3400 swap for $550....that includes everything...motor, fluids, seals, gaskets, and any new sensors or parts needed.

also dont forget the CAI and the matched tb the cai will help over a stock 3100 thats for sure. i wouldnt want to get a 3400 thats the easy way out i want to mod my 3100 so its faster than hell. keep in mind this is only stage 1 of the N/A 3100 project

i was wonder, i already have half my motor apart replaceing a blown head gasket. Will the 3400 top end fit on the 3100 block, if not, will just the lower and upper intake fit the 3100 heads or atleast the 3400 top intake to the 3100 lower intake. and if the 3400 heads wont fit, will the 3400 headers fit on the 3100 heads?
