Didn't think a license was required for the strip... Better kick those Jr. dragsters off the track

I'd like to see pics of the final install when you wrap it up...

Try to tune it and scan it before the dyno to get it closer to perfect. Unless you have a lot of time on the dyno to burn up!

At least scan scan scan so you can see where you are lean/rich/KR/etc so you know what to correct..

Dunno, other than make sure it's running as good as it can (not lean or knocking/KR) before you go flogging it. Don't you have to break in a new motor first.... ??? did you do that yet?

I wouldn't even fire it up until you have changed the calibration for the different injectors and compensated for the fuel needs.... Unless you would like to pop one of those new custom pistons...

Any way Im not saying Ive spent more or done more than anyone else, just want to let GA GT owners that I have some bragging rights for all the sh**
                      Ive done...
Isn't that kind of a contradiction? You admit you haven't done as much or spent as much as other people have yet you say you have the tightest grand am ever. I won't even say that about my car and I'm sure I've spent a lot more than you so far. I won't say that because I'm still working on it and I know there's a lot of room for improvement yet, so I just say I'm happy with it because you're right that it's kind of rediculous for a v6 grand am but thats half the fun.

If I was going to call anyone's grand am tight it would be tejohnson's, simply because the scientific approach and attention to detail which he's moddified his car with is IMHO amazing for someone who doesn't do this for a living.

Seriously thanks fo all the comments really appreciat it when I get compliments, and Im not concieded GTR
I never said you were conceited. I just said thats kind of a cocky remark and might turn some people off. I was just trying to help you out dude. Anyway, you've already got all the good advice you need in this thread. Make some adjustments in the pcm before you even fire it up, and get a decent tune on the street first so you aren't running lean or getting knock when you go to the dyno. Thats all you need to start.

Definitely tejohnson has the most radical mods as far as a scientific aproach, He has a nice car. I cant compete in that aspect, all my mods were already available, except the custom forged pistons and bore.

Any who, I fired up my car for the first time and it sounds awsome, it has a nice rumble to it and it loud with my borla exaust, not to mention the whistling of the SC sounds awsome as well. The only problem is that it dies after I excell hard, most likely from the stage 1 cam I put in, But thats getting fixed today. If some one tells me how to put a movie clip on her I will post one.
