  • Stock cam/valve spring float?

At what RPM will the stock cam and valves with stock springs begin to float?

I heard some clattering, which I can only assume to be valve float at around 6200 or so. I mistyped in the PowrTuner, and got that!

THink it also depends on the age and miles on the car too.

I had fairly new springs and valves (bout 2 yrs old), and got float at 4500 RPM (at ~11 PSI of boost tho)
