haven't found any yet but still looking for Ben, short of having them custom made. how much juice r you trying to squeeze? if you're going 150 or less H's would be fine, IF you KNOW you can tune it.

speed-pro makes a H piston with a coated skirt. that should be good enough as long as your tune is @ perfect. I think Ben can get these for you.

Why not? SO long as its tuned properly there is no reason to use forged. Stock pistons took a 200 shot more than once so 125-150 with a good tune would be fine. Why? Because forged pistons are better for when you have detonation, but hyper pistons are better when you have no detonation, especially on a street driven car. Forged pistons require more clearance with the cylinder wall due to thermal expansion.

If you aren't sure you your tuning ability/getting it setup properly, then you better get the strongest parts you can, which would be forged pistons. However, for 900 bucks vs 200ish...yeah, id rather tune it.

Are you sure? I ask because the tune is vital. How often are you going to be running the nawz? Have you used it before and set it up or are you having it installed and the computer tuned for it? Wet/Dry shot?

Im still confident in the hypers ability but I want to make sure you are going to be setup for it. Ill get a price tomorrow. What size (stock, overbore?).

I have had several cars with nitrous.

In fact one was a stock internal, stock heads, and cam. 95 LT1 Camaro. that went a best of 10.98 @ 123 mph, 1.47 60 foot. So yes I feel confident with running nitrous.

As far tuning goes I will probably go with a FAST engine management system. (If its compatable. I still have to contact them.

I just want a price quote for now, STD bore. I am considering building a pretty modded 3.1 Grand Prix. One I hope will compete with some of the Fastest 3.8 GTP times.

you can safely run a 75-100 shot w/stock cast pistons with a good tune, or just alittle more gas than you need w/a little extra retard

There is an auction for Aluminum "PowerForged" pistons...

Oh and you are nuts running a 10.98 with *what I could see from the picture, no roll cage or roll bar in a convertible Camaro.*

I refuse to put a roll bar in a convertible. Looks gay! I had been kicked out of many tracks due to running to fast. NHRA rules require convertibles running faster than 13.99 have a bar. a stock Z28 runs that from the factory. Most of th 1/8th mile tracks I run at dont care how fast it is.

Thanks for the link, I will check it out.

You can't use the 2.8 pistons:P NIce find though.

Priced the hyper pistons with the coated skirts at 200 even.

Yeah, I noticed they were 2.8 pistons.

I'll let you what I decide on the pistons Ben.
