  • Milzy Motorsports 3400 Injector Kit

I just spoke with Mike Milzy and he sells a complete Fuel Injector kit for
the 3400 engine. It sells for $250 for the complete package with all the equipment you need to hook up the 36 lb. injectors. Im not sure about the brand though. Just an FYI. Since Ive been looking for something like this, it seems all the kits on the other sites such as ZZP, PFYC, and others are more focused on the 3800 injector kits.

Why can't you just install the injectors onto the stock rail?

They could be the older type connector. Even so, a trip to the junk yard would be cheaper than 250 to cut those connectors off and then splice them in. Does 250 include the injectors?

MSD makes the injector clips and can be gotten on Summit Racings site for like $20

you can land a set of 36# injectors from damn near any grand prix site for $40-80.

              Germ,

Do you have the MSD Part # for the clips from Summitt and The 36# part # for the injectors that will fit the 3400. I am definatly interested in the upgrade.

Thanks in advance for you time and trouble

              Chris

                MSD - 2400

                $13.88 @ summit plus shipping

as for the injectors, look for some used ones on any grand prix forum...

also check local grand prix forums, like the florida chapter of grand prix owners. there should be a link in clubgp.com for all local chapters of clubgp.

So let me get this straight.......

I buy the connectors from summit racing $14
then I buy some injectors for a Grand prix GTP $80

and that all I need to hook up the GTP injectors to my grand Am 3400
                  Nothing else
                  Are you sure!

Other than splice the wires and put in the injectors with new orings. that's it. Assuming those msd ones fit the GP injectors.

you have to splice in the connectors to the fuel rail harness, as already mentioned.

you will also need to have your PCM or ECM programed for the new size of injectors or you will not run correctly

you can also go to any junk yard and swipe off the connectors from old design 3100 harness or any 96-99 3400 engine. they use the same connectors as the GTP's.

if you get lucky, you can find a GTP with the injectors still on the car. it rarely happens, but you could easily walk out of the junk yard with all the physical parts for under $50 if not free
