The only MPFI 4.3L that EVER existed was on the GMC Syclone and Typhoon.

So why would you want to use 4.3L injectors on a 3.1L?

Nope sorry they are not MPFI in the typical sense. They are CPI and CSFI. The injectors are located centrally in the manifold. When the injectors open fuel travels through a hose to a poppet valve and is injected into the intake runner.

The CPI has one single large injecor and 6 poppet valves. Meaning it is batch fired.

CSFI has 6 smaller centrally located injectors and 6 poppet valves and they are sequentially fired.
