  • The Hybrid 272 is running !!!!!!!!!!!

for you guys that don't browse v6z24.com heres my post from there

    hows she lookin now

this is huge it took me 3 hours but i did it all by myself and took my time, of course there was alot of swearing, got in a bad mood fast cause i was tired but stared around 1230 and got done at 320, motor is in all bolted down. wasn't too hard putting it in by myself, but it was tricky. my engine bay got a little scratched up and the hardest thing was lining the damn bolts up with the monts. I've never had that prob before with a motor. owell and in other news I ordered my pushrod length checker today too should be here by saturday i hope, oh yeah i ripped the rubber shit off the real bumper so i could get the cherry picker closer, at the time i didn't realize i could extend the arm but the rubber shit was just screwed on too lol

and my friend who let me borrow the cherry picker does intership i guess you could call it at the dealership and he can get me all my gaskets and everythign for there cost+10%

    heres a lil flavor flave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crower makes one. I have (had?) one... I let a guy on the site borrow it and I don't think he's been to the site in prob 6 months. Hmm... Might have to check into that.

Have you tried runing with your stock FPR? I'm not knowledgeable in gen2 to gen3 swaps but I remember something about having to re-use you're FPR, but that may be just on 2000+FPR's.... Are you getting any codes from the choppy cam? BTW is that a "stage 1" cam? Try taking a video with the car runing, only walk away from the car so it doesn't overload the camera's mic...

ah yeah duh hybrid, gen2 bottom end. Sorry hard to keep track of everyone's projects.. I even remember reading about the pushrods/etc of yours I just forgot.. What lb/hr are the mustangs you got in there?
Does it sound like that in the 3rd video in real life? sounds really really rough. Defaintly need to raise the idle in the ecm some.
